- HOW IT WORKS
How does Buildor/Lite work?
Whilst you are making these changes, none of the live pages of your website are being edited or effected in anyway.
The pages of your website are hosted on a web server. To make your changes 'live' so everyone else can see them you have to save them back to the web server, which you can do using our integrated FTP process or by saving to your desktop and using you own FTP client.
What's all this FTP business?
FTP (or file transfer protocol) is the method we use for moving your edited pages to your web server.
This is as most complex as using Buildor/Lite gets - the rest of it should be a breeze - so it's worth investing a bit of time to understand it.
There is a full guide to using FTP and while we're in
Beta, feel free to get in touch direct if you are having issues with FTP using our
feedback form on the Help page.
